Set a neighbour's table with fresh food

Working towards a hungry free Ontario

.

Help our New Program Take Root

.

Donate today and help us fill our neighbour's tables with fresh food!

Over 25 million pounds of fresh nutritious food is disposed of or ploughed back into the soil on Ontario's farms every year. With your help, we can ensure this food gets to people who need it most.

.

Your donation today will directly impact over 375,000 Ontarians forced to turn to food banks each month, including 140,000 children.

.

Gleaning is an ancient process
of picking fresh crops left on
the land after the harvest

Ontario families will sit down to empty tables this Thanksgiving.

72% of people turning to food banks do not eat the required servings of fruits and vegetables.

.

Your support helps the OAFB harvest surplus fruits and vegetables for local food banks from local farms. Harvest season is here. You can help Community Harvest Ontario glean the fields before it's too late and help hungry families in time for Thanksgiving.

.

  • It doesn’t take much to put healthy food on the table:

.

  • $25 will pay for 175 lbs of fresh Ontario produce for local food banks
  • $50 provides 9 children with daily servings of fresh fruits and vegetables for a month
  • $250 acquires 500 nutritious meals from local farmers for people facing hunger
