In conjunction with Seeds of Diversity Canada (SoDC), the Stop Community Food Centre and the Toronto Community Gardening Network (TCGN), and with generous funding from Carrot Cache, the Seed Saver Educator will work to encourage community gardeners to save their seeds and provide them with practical skills to do so.

Meet Jillian Bishop

As Seed Saver Educator, I am working with the TCGN, the Stop, and Seeds of Diversity Canada to help promote seed saving amongst community gardeners throughout Toronto.

I will be visiting gardens and markets encouraging people to save their seeds. As well, I will provide hands-on workshops and demonstrations providing people with the tools and knowledge to save their own garden seeds.

All of this is being done with generous funding from the Carrot Cache.

If you have any questions about seed saving or would like me to come and visit your garden,

please contact me at: urbantomato@gmail.com
