Ben Nobleman Park Community Orchard Harvest Festival

Come and celebrate Toronto's first community orchard in a park with free food, music, information booths, a free raffle and children's activities.

• Date: Thursday August 26, 5pm to 8pm
• Location: Ben Nobleman Park on Eglinton just south of the Eglinton West subway station

• Learn how planting fruit trees can help build communities and make them more sustainable.

The event is being organized by Growing for Green together with Parks Forestry and Recreation.

Organizational partners include:

• Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests
• Toronto Beekeepers Cooperative

Hundreds of dollars worth of prizes have been donated by the Upper Village BIA including massages, martial arts courses, gift certificates and more! There will also be orchard tours, martial arts demonstrations, and free fruit and other snacks for all.
