How do we as people, live in an age of increased distractions, shorter attention spans, more environmental degradation then any time before and still feel secure, healthy, happy and positive about our future?

This workshop will introduce attendees to the principles and practice of Resilience Perma-culture. Resilience Perma-culture began with this question in mind and found that through Perma-culture, an integrated, holistic, scientific and ethical design system, we can live happier lives, while saving money, energy and our habitat (the Earth).

Based in over 40 years of successful application Perma-culture provides a framework to look at systems or designs to find the greater connections and relationships that benefits both the individual and the community.

During this 3 hour presentation Peramaculture Educator Javan Kerby Bernakevitch's will discuss the fundamentals of Perma-culture Ethics, Principles and Design methodology and how it can be applied to:

  • improve your home & backyard while saving resources and building a healthy place for family, friends and community;
  • build resilient communities patterned after ecological principles;

and

  • assemble landscapes that clean water, use less energy, provide healthy organic food, save money and contribute to a healthy ecology.

.

This workshop is relevant and useful for everyone interested in gardening, building homes, community work, economic regeneration, education, health, planning, business or green lifestyles.

This course will activate you into building food security outside your door; getting through water shortages with design for rainwater harvest; or lower your energy bills with efficient design and retrofit.

The application of Perma-culture design provides positive solutions towards a sustainable future.

  • The suggested donation for this workshop is $10/person.
