COLDFRAMING : OUTDOOR GROWING IN THE COLD MONTHS: 2pm-3pm
Learn how to apply Season Extension Techniques to get as much as a two-month head-start on growing foods outdoors this spring; and learn how to design and build Cold Frames and Raised Beds, for your own garden. Get inspired to keep foods growing far longer into this fall, and right through the winter, to achieve the earliest possible harvests next spring.
GARDENING WITH KIDS: 2pm-3pm
Get your kids stoked about gardening, because it really can be fun for them. At this drop-in event your kids will enjoy guessing the cool plants and critters on the screen; will learn how easy it is to make a flower pot from recycled newspaper; and can take home seeds for a kid-scale veggie they can grow at home.
