Position: Manager of Design / Build Group with Landscaping Company

Urban Garden is a rapidly growing landscape design / build / maintenance firm that focuses on innovative projects in Toronto.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead and expand our Design / Build Group.

You will report to the President and will be responsible for a staff of approximately 10 to 15 persons consisting of designers, project supervisors and construction crews.

.

Mandatory Requirements

• Project management experience;
• Estimating and tender preparation experience;
• Excellent client-relations skills;
• financial management skills including:
• - familiarity with financial statements
• - experience in budget preparation
• - experience in job-cost management

.

Other Assets

• Experience with landscaping projects;
• Familiarity with project management and estimating software;
• LEED certification;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Formal training in project management;
• Experience in landscape design and use of design software;
• PMP certification.
