Location: San Lorenzo Latin American Community Centre 22 Wenderly Dr.
Directions: Just east of Dufferin St. and south of Lawrence Ave West
Accessibility: we are fully accessible to people using Wheelchairs, Walkers, and Canes
About our garden: It was started in 1994 at the San Lorenzo Latin American Community Centre for the "Voces de la Tierra", our Health and environmental radio show.
We welcome people who want to contribute to our garden and would like to participate in our radio show. "Voces de la Tierra" is on 1610 AM on the radio dial, on Sundays from 4-5 pm. The program works in coordination with the garden. Translation is provided from English to Spanish.
We work enhancing the naturalized area on Dufferin and the butterfly garden.
Visits: The garden group meets in the garden on Thursdays at 6:30 PM, and on Sundays at 3 PM.
We will be dividing the garden in 4 for the growing season in 2010
